Commissions Terms of Service; based on terms drafted by lesbionage

1. Terms of Service are mostly non-negotiable. And if you try to negotiate them I'm probably going to want to reject your commission.


2. PROCESS:
   

   After you request a commission, I will give you a quote on the final price. If the final price is above $60, I will require 50% of the commission price be paid prior to the commission's completion. Otherwise, payment is not required until the commission is complete. If you choose to pay prior anyway, your commission will be given priority in the slots.*; ***
   
   Work will begin some time after the request, and I will usually keep in contact with you during the process. If things need to be fixed, a maximum of 3 revisions can be requested (though I myself may choose to do more.) During its completion, I may periodically send low-resolution images of the progress if I am not confident with the direction.
   
   Upon completion, high-resolution images will either be sent or uploaded to an album to be downloaded. If payment was completed prior, I will send the image directly after completion. Otherwise, the image will not be sent until after payment has been received.




3. RIGHTS:

   As the artist, I reserve the right to use the images for portfolios, examples, and other reproduction and re-use rights unless such rights are purchased from me. This includes any print-style images that may be completed.




4. PREFERENCES:
   

   There are a number of things I am not experienced with or am uncomfortable doing work for. Though they may not be listed, I reserve the right to reject any commission based on content. I want to provide my best work for you, and unfortunately I cannot provide my best work for certain content.
   At the moment I will not draw:
   

   • Excessive Gore/Guro/injuries that require anatomical research
   • Porn****
   • Super-detailed backgrounds




5. DEADLINES:

   I pride myself on being a quick worker and do my best to get my work for you done in a timely manner. However, nine months out of the year, I am studying at art school and must prioritise work for school (September-May). If no deadline has been specified for a commission, it is very possible that it may take me a while to get to it due to outside influences.
   
   If it takes me more than three weeks to start a commission and it is because of an outside influence, I will contact you and let you know. However, it is okay to contact me if three weeks have passed since the time of commission and I have not contacted you personally.
   
   However, if you need the work completed before a three-week queue limit, please let me know and I will either prioritise it or let you know that I cannot have it completed by then.




6. PAYMENTS:

   Payments must be made to my paypal; lucdionicioperez [@] gmail [.] com. I do not currently accept payments in any other form.




7. TRADITIONAL COMMISSIONS:

   Dreamwidth customers who wish to request traditional commissions (such as hand-drawn lineart, sketches, mini-sketchbooks, or shrink-paper custom charms) may contact me at the aforementioned email to discuss. Note that these commissions cannot be given a metered price and thus are priced per commission and may require extra payment to cover shipping. These commissions will not be listed on the slot queue and may have a longer wait time based on the size of the commission.




8. SLOTS, ASTERISKS, ETC:
   

   At the current time (27 APR 2014) I will only be accepting 3 Dreamwidth slots** per Icon or Regular commission style. These are not a work order and I have the right to pick and choose which I do first* (as this will generally guarantee a better final product for you).
   
   *Priority is given to those who have paid in full beforehand, as they have obviously completed the payment already.
   
   **You see those ♛ symbols in the slots list? If the three regular slots are all filled, up to two extra slots may be opened for a fee. These fees start at $5 and will increase depending on the size/price of the commission requested. If I feel a commission is too big to add to the list, I will reject it, though I will also accept offers of your choosing if you really, really want that slot.
   
   ***Payment for 'Auction', monthly icon slots, or any other "spur of the moment" slots must be paid at time of request.
   
   ****If I know you well enough and we have discussed it, porn may be requested. We'll talk.
